As Montreal Correspondent for FLARE, Canada's top-selling fashion magazine, and a freelance fashion and beauty writer since 2008, Janna has unparalleled access to the city's fashion scene. She is a native Montrealer who has contributed to numerous other print and online publications, including LOULOU (Canada's shopping magazine), Sweetspot, Mercedes-Benz Magazine and enRoute. WHAT WE DO
Montreal Shopping Tours specializes in customized excursions for fashion-loving tourists and locals. We'll show you how to shop smart and on trend as we travel through the city's best boutiques and ateliers.

All tours run for 4 hours and cost $175 (tax included) per person. Private and semi-private tours available by request.

HOW DO THE TOURS WORK?
With Montreal Shopping Tours, you'll get the VIP treatment from start to finish. Your tour will begin with a pick-up at your hotel. (For locals and visitors staying outside the downtown core, you will receive a meeting place and time in your reservation confirmation.) Then, based on the preferences you've provided in your reservation inquiry, we'll visit a well-edited selection of stores that suit your personal style and needs. At each stop, you'll receive expert shopping tips and trend advice, along with an exclusive Montreal Shopping Tours discount. And because we're serious about shopping, we'll also provide gourmet snacks so you can refuel on the go.

WHAT METHODS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
Payments can be made with your PayPal account or credit card (online or over the phone). Alternatively, you reserve the tour with your credit card but pay by cash at the beginning of the tour.

HOW FAR AHEAD SHOULD I BOOK?
Guests are encouraged to book as far in advance as possible. We are occasionally able to accommodate last-minute reservations, so please call to inquire about next- or same-day availability. (Please note that a cash payment is necessary for last-minute and same-day bookings.)

WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL MY RESERVATION?
Hey, things happen! We simply ask that you provide at least 24 hours' notice in order to receive a full refund.

CAN I BRING A PARTNER OR FRIEND?
Everyone is welcome, however as space is limited, every person must pay the fee in order to secure a spot on the tour.

IS IT MANDATORY TO MAKE PURCHASES ON THE TOUR?
Nope! You are welcome to join the tour simply to browse and discover the city's world-class shopping scene. Montreal Shopping Tours does not receive a commission for purchases made by its patrons, so there is never any pressure to buy (though with our stellar suggestions, we can't promise you won’t feel tempted!)

AM I REQUIRED TO TIP MY GUIDE?
Your tour fee is inclusive, but if you feel you received top-quality service, you are welcome to tip your guide. (Please note that in Canada it is customary to tip those working in the service industry, but you may tip whatever you feel is appropriate, if at all.) All currencies will be accepted.

WHAT LANGUAGE ARE THE TOURS CONDUCTED IN?
Montreal Shopping Tours operate primarily in English, however guests are welcome to communicate with their guide in French if they wish.

WHAT IF THE WEATHER IS POOR?
We shop rain or shine! That said, in the event of a blizzard, we reserve the right to cancel for safety reasons. Of course, a full refund will be provided.
